Guest Recipe: The Northeast Food Dude’s Keto Crab Cakes

,

Hey readers! Anthony here, or as I’m better known: The Northeast Food Dude (Follow my cooking and Dad adventures on IG @thenortheastfooddude).

I’m a chef, restaurant owner, health coach and I happen to be married to the owner of this blog, The Northeast Ginger.

These were hands down the best crab cakes I’ve ever eaten, and they were super easy to make.

Not only are they keto, but they are grain free/gluten free and use quality ingredients (no vegetable oil or hidden sugar).

Ingredients:
-1/2 lb lump crab
-1 tbsp coconut flour
-1 egg
-1/4 cup Primal Kitchen Mayo
-1 tsp Primal Palate New Bae Seasoning
-1 tbsp lemon juice
-1/2 tbsp coconut aminos
-1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard

Instructions:
-Add all ingredients to a large bowl and gently fold the mixture together.

-Chill the mixture in the fridge for an hour.

-Preheat oven to broil. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

-Form 5 similar sized patties and place on parchment paper. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle salt and pepper.

-Broil for 10 minutes, until golden brown.
