It’s no secret that we love to travel, but when you’re always focused on “where to” next, you sometimes miss all that awaits right in your own city.

We’ve lived in Pittsburgh for almost five years now, and I’ve only recently discovered the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. It honestly could not be more gorgeous!

We had perfect spring weather the day we chose to visit, and there was so much in bloom. We wandered the 60-acre woodlands and basked in the sun on the lawn in front of the Lotus Pond. There are winding trails, beautiful bridges and tons of history.

About Me

Hi, I’m Katrina.

I’m not here to sell you a green juice and pretend it’ll fix your life. I’m here for the messy, raw, deeply freeing work of coming home to yourself—without numbing, faking, or settling.

This space is for the wellness-curious, the ones who’ve outgrown the bullshit, the rebels with boundaries.

You’re not too much. You’re just waking up.

The Northeast Ginger is a real-talk wellness platform rooted in radical self-respect.
