One of my goals for 2022 is to make all my own dressings + condiments, like this homemade Buttermilk Ranch ✨
In our house, we live by the 80/20 rule, which is, “eat clean, grass-fed, organic + wholesome 80% of the time; eat whatever the fuck feels right 20% of the time.”
It is a commitment that has really helped us on our health + wellness journey.
One area that people often overlook when starting a Clean Eating journey is sauces, dressings + condiments, which very often hide lots of chemicals, preservatives + sugar.
Does making your own shit take time + effort? Definitely.
But it’s also all about time management + priorities. If this is important to you, you’ll find the time + won’t mind the effort. ✌🏼
My best advice is to use a 16 oz mason jar to prepare this dressing (the photos in this blog post show a 32 oz mason jar instead – we use a lot of ranch 😂. Just double the recipe).
Simply add all the ingredients to the jar, cover and shake well. It’s really that simple!
Your dressing will stay fresh in the fridge for about a week.
